a) When visiting the website
When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following information is recorded without action on your part and is stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • Amount of data transferred
  • A report as to whether the access attempt was successful

We process the data listed above for the following purposes:

b) When registering your HumiLife device
You can register yourself and your HumiLife device on our website to take advantage of additional features on the site. Data entered in this regard will only be used for the purposes of using the site or service for which you have registered. Mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject your registration.

If there are important changes to the scope of our offerings or other necessary technical changes, we will use the e-mail address you provided during registration.

We will process the data provided during registration only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. An informal e-mail making this request is sufficient. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We will continue to store the data collected during registration for as long as you remain registered on our website and this data will be deleted thereafter. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

c) When keeping the maintenance log
Any information you provide will be stored if, as a registered user, you maintain the maintenance log for your HumiLife device. We will not share this data without your consent.

Accordingly, the data entered in this context is processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal e-mail making this request is sufficient. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We will retain this data until you request its erasure, you withdraw your consent for its storage, or the purpose for which it was stored is no longer applicable. Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected.

d) When ordering consumable materials online 
We will store any data you have provided when you order consumables online as a registered user. We will not share this data without your consent.

Accordingly, the data entered in this context is processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal e-mail making this request is sufficient. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We will retain this data until you request its erasure, you withdraw your consent for its storage, or the purpose for which it was stored is no longer applicable (e.g. after we have completed your order). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected.

e) When requesting services
We will store any data you have provided if you request a service call for your HumiLife device as a registered user using the form provided. We will not share this data without your consent. 
Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntary consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Personal data collected by us for the use of the service request form will automatically be deleted after your request has been processed.

f) Enquiry by e-mail, phone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, phone or fax, your request, including all ensuing personal data (name, nature of enquiry), is stored and processed by us for the purposes of processing your enquiry. We will not share this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is required to perform pre-contractual activities. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in effectively processing enquiries addressed to us.We will retain the data you provide when contacting us until such time as you request its erasure, withdraw your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer applies (e.g. after processing your enquiry). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected.

Your personal data will not be shared with third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

you have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR,
disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and there are no grounds to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in not disclosing your data, 
there is a legal obligation to share such data under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and sharing is lawful and required for the performance of a contract with you according to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
